Let's talk about SEX baby

So I was talking with Jenn today and we were talking about sex and marriage (a common topic for singles of my age catagory, especially Christians) What's your opinion of Britt and Dave living in the same home before they get married. Did you have anything to say about that? I told her she might have difficulties marrying someone who is not a Christian. I'm pretty sure I said I didn't think it was right to have sex before marriage as well. Unfortunatly I never said how great I think Dave is and how great I think he will treat her. (Been meaning to send her an e-mail) Did you talk to her about that. I remember you telling me once when I was seventeen that you didn't think I should have sex before I got married. I think I called you a hypocrite. Recently I was going over Screwtape Letters and it said something like when you have sex with someone "a transcendental relation is set up between them which must be eternally enjoyed or eternally endured."
Here on earth I've severed some of the relationships I've had of that nature. I wonder what it is in the eternal realm of heaven?

In the church atmosphere no sex before marriage is heavily enforced (sometimes in a stiff necked way, but not always). You never seemed to press this on your kids very much as far as I know. I know I'm being critical of your parenting style here but please understand that I praise your free parenting style, I tell others to raise their kids this way, I see many comparisons between it and the way God treats his children, and I will raise my children this way. But on this issue I wonder why you didn't press it on us more.

Last thing. When I was talking about the church I'm going to you said something like, "I know where you're headed?" What did you mean by that? I know I'm getting more involved and therefor will encounter corruptions and if I'm doing God's work I will encounter our enemy and he will try to rattle my in my faith in new ways I haven't yet experienced. Is that what you meant basically? Do you remember saying that?
